LCDDP (Leonard Cheshire Disability and Development Programme), Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, was initiated after the tsunami in 2004. The project was started in 2005 with an objective to rebuild the lives of persons with disabilities who were affected by Tsunami. The focus areas of the programme are children with disabilities, women with disabilities, and health and rehabilitation services and initiatives.
